Had one of the meetings with the contractor today, was interesting. Sometimes you come across people that are just fun to chat with. And sometimes we just get to sit back and chuckle at our partners while they talk. Love ya Ricky… ;-P~ Oh…. this one also had a couple of black and whites that were worth it. You can find them with the others, par usual.

I only had 10 minutes today, so sadly there aren’t any artistic photos from this outing. Just the generic, “hey look what they did” shots. Pretty basic and pretty boring.

So, most of the radiant roofing is up… have a peek.
April 23, 2010,
So, I was thinking I should go by the house yesterday, but it was so freaking cold that I opted to get horribly sick from eating something from rice milk, take tons of benadryl and veg out in front of my computer watching movies instead… *sigh* I really should have gone yesterday, bad weather (mine and outside) or not. Next week is the walk through wit the electrician and the builder… it’s going at a pretty good clip at the moment, though I am sure when we have to wait on the stupid military inspector it will slow WAY down.

So we went back today and luckily they hadn’t started framing which is great. Means my neighbor Tom was correct and they wait 48 hours after the concrete to start the process, but the wood was there so you will get to see that at least in these shots. I also decided to use the more artistic closeups of the building as my portfolio for my final, even thinking of setting up a kind of exhibit in the new home for like the 5-10 best photo’s.

So I went last night after Kate’s haircut to take pictures of the house. I prefer to take pictures in the evening that way I can get the type of lighting that I prefer. Yet this morning when I went to show Rich, the concrete had been poured already… which of course means I need to go back again before they start framing.

Well I finally went and took pictures with the camera. We have basic pluming infrastructure and as Rich felt the need to prove, running water. It has begun and I have to admit it’s killing me having to watch all of this go so slowly.

Well, here is the first photo.
