So, the first pictures today are of the first mural project. It was done about four weekends ago, but I never got around to posting it. By the time I got into the house I had already been planning the project for six months. In order to boost moral and family unity I allowed Paige (that’s her preferred name right now) to so the original sketch then I painted it. I will be the first one to say that I painted it a little more traditional than Paige’s progressive sketch. Sorry kiddo. It sure did turn out well though and I was so very happy to get that project out of my head.

For those of you that don’t know, BMCS is Rich’s grandpa and the one man I have to thank the most for my perfect man.

He loves to tell his “no shit there I was” stories!! And no matter how many times I hear them, they still make me smile.

Sometimes it is the simple things that make us feel good about who we are and where we are.

This is our bathroom window over the tub.

And the living and kitchen.

Sometimes it pays to just stop, relax and appreciate what you have.

The last piece is finally in. We sign for our new home next Wednesday and move in on Friday!!!

Looks more like a home than a science project now.

I am blogging from my phone. Expect more from me more often. Assuming anyone even bothers to read it in the first place.
